If you are under stress, wish to improve your spiritual path or just keen to meet new people then welcome to UC Meditation! Our sessions involve guided group meditation followed by tea/snacks and socialising. Everyone is welcome, student or non-student.
Classes are from 5:15 to 6:00pm every Monday at Kirkwood Village (room currently booking).
Weekly Uni Term meditation classes: These classes are aimed at everyone, and it is completely fine if you have no prior experience with meditation! The class generally begins with a preparatory breathing meditation by a teacher from the Buddhist Centre, followed by a short informative talk and second meditation.
Study Break classes: Same structure as weekly classes but during this time we explore other forms of meditation with benefits including but not limited to: tension/pain relief, lucid dreaming, improved memory, Yoga etc.
