The University of Canterbury Basketball Club caters for men and women and competes in the Canterbury Basketball Association club competition during the winter. The club has a 50+ year history and has had a number of NZ and Canterbury representatives. Currently the club has five teams including teams in the premier men’s and women’s grades.
We would like to acknowledge the support of the Air Rescue Services Ltd with donations for 2 new sets of uniforms and 5 basketballs in 2012. Also the good guys at Robbies Riccarton for their ongoing support to the club.
We are still looking for some Women's U20 and Div 1 (B Grade) players for our teams in the Canterbury Club Competition.
