Trash into Treasure

Trash into Treasure is an art sculpture competition showcasing art sculptures created by students from used and recycled materials.

Create a sculpture that relates to sustainable living or waste themes, made from used or recycled materials. For example you could use plastic spoons to make a peacock or bottle caps to create a fish, you could use absolutely any trash items to create absolutely anything - let your imagination run wild!

Selected sculptures will be on display on Level 2 in the Library during Sustainapalooza, where public voting will take place for the week (9am, 18th September - 12pm, 23rd September 2017). The winners will then be announced during the Sustainapalooza Pizza Party on Friday 23rd September 2017.

To enter you must fill out the survey below and send 5 clear images of your sculpture along with your name and Trash into Treasure Entry in the subject line to events@ucsa.org.nz.

With $500 worth of prizes to be won...what's stopping you? Entries are open NOW and will close 5pm Monday 11th September.
