Mental Health Awareness Week 2022

26th September- 2nd October 2022

This year’s theme is ‘Reconnect with the people and places that lift you up, hei pikinga waiora.’ The past couple of years have been tough and it is easy to feel disconnected from the people and places that are important to us.

Throughout the week there will be plenty of opportunities to join us this MHAW in reconnecting with the people and places that lift you up, whether it’s a 2-for-1 coffee catchup with a friend at one of the participating cafes on campus, or a meditation class in the Waiutuutu Community Garden, there will be something for everyone!

Everyone is invited to attend the expo day on Wednesday 28th September from 12pm-2pm in Haere-Roa. We will have friendly animals, kai, giveaways and a range of stallholders showcasing mental health and wellbeing-related information and products. You won’t want to miss it!
