TICKETING

Where can I purchase Tickets to UCSA ORI’26?

Tickets are available here: https://haereroa.flicket.co.nz/

Can I purchase tickets from the gate?

Gate Sales will be made available ONLY if the specific event does not sell out in advance. We recommend purchasing tickets at your earliest opportunity.

Why is my ticket not appearing in my inbox?

You will receive a ticket confirmation shortly after the successful processing of your transaction. In some cases, it may take a few minutes to appear.

To prevent unauthorised resale and scams, we do not send your actual ticket with the barcode displayed until closer to the event. You will receive notification that your event ticket is available at that time.

Please note that combo ticket holders will receive an individual ticket for EACH event.

If your payment was successfully completed and the confirmation still hasn’t appeared in your Inbox, Junk or Spam folders, please email the ticketing agent directly at support@flicket.co.nz

I've purchased a ticket on VIAGOGO, TIXEL, or another unauthorised platform. Can I verify if they are legitimate?

The only tickets we can guarantee are legitimate are those purchased directly from Flicket.

We can never guarantee the validity of a ticket that was purchased through a third-party platform, such as Tixel, Viagogo, Facebook or other marketplaces. Festival Tickets are non-transferable and any person carrying a ticket which is not in their name will be denied entry.

In some cases, the event may utilise an official resale service for the purpose of reselling tickets. Where this is used, the original tickets are cancelled, and a new ticket will be issued in the name of the buyer. Any re-sale platform will only be activated once the Event is sold out and communicated to existing ticketholders at that time, though the Organiser makes no guarantee resales will be permitted now or in the future.

If you did not purchase your ticket using the Flicket platform, it is likely your ticket will not be honoured. The Organiser accepts no liability for any losses incurred as a result of the purchase of tickets from any unauthorised third-party, whether deliberate or unintentional.

SAFETY

What is the UCSA’s policy towards harassment at events?

The UCSA holds a zero tolerance towards any forms of harassment at our events. We are committed to placing the safety of our employees, contractors, attendees and public above all else to ensure that UCSA ORI’26 delivers the best possible experience to start the year at UC!

Who should I talk to if I feel unsafe?

Our friendly event staff and security are always around to help! At any point if you feel unsafe, intimidated, or harassed, please make sure you let us know, by reaching out to any staff on site or if you’re after something more discreet use our number below or ask for an angel shot.

During TOGA (R17) or SUMMER STEIN (R18) you can call or text 027 UCSA 111 (027 8272 111) with a description of what’s happening. This will go directly to a Senior member of the UCSA Events Team who will be able to help, whatever your situation may be.

What is the “Angel Shot”?

Asking for an Angel Shot is another way of telling us staff that you’re feeling harassed whilst at UCSA ORI’26, and at other events throughout the year. Our event, bar and security staff know that if you ask for an Angel Shot, this means you’re distressed and need assistance. We ‘ll discreetly take you to a safe space and support you in choosing how you’d like to proceed.

Will there be a drug checking service prior to ORI’26 events?

As part of wider alcohol and drug harm minimisation strategies, anonymous and free drug testing will be carried out by 'Know Your Stuff', a community organisation committed to reducing drug related harm at festivals and events.

The UCSA does not condone drug use of any kind, but we are aware of the realities that exist. Because of this, we feel harm prevention methods are necessary. Although we have little control over the intent for use, Know Your Stuff and the NZ Drug Foundation provide a service which helps to provide education and information to reach the same objective.

The date and time for this service will be announced on the UCSA Facebook and Instagram page.

ACCESSIBILITY

Do UCSA ORI’26 festivals cater for persons with access needs?

Yes! ORI ‘26 is everyone’s time to shine! Our team are passionate about making your day as enjoyable as possible.

Haere-roa Lawn is reasonably flat venue. There may be some uneven surfaces and moderate terrain (tree roots, buried sprinkler heads and potholes in the grass fields) to navigate while within the venue.

If there’s anything we can do to assist you in your access needs, please let us know!

Are there any accessible parking options?

There are reserved mobility car parks located close to Haere-roa’s main entrance and the route to the festival main entrance has no steps.

Where is the accessible entry to the venue?

The entry to the venue may pose extra challenges to patrons in wheelchairs or with other access needs due to limited entry width. If you are concerned about access via the principal entrance, please contact our team, or talk to a member of our team on the day who will be able to assist you in entering smoothly.

What accessible toilet facilities are available?

There is an accessible portaloo clearly marked and located close to the main stage, and accessible toilets inside Haere-roa. If you require assistance accessing or finding these toilet facilities, please speak to our team.

All portaloos on the festival site, and inside Haere-roa are gender neutral.

Where can I find information about other access considerations?

We appreciate you may have specific needs that we have not addressed above. If there’s anything we can do to assist you in your access needs, please let us know.

A full Accessibility Handbook for ORI ’26 will be available to download from our website in January. Features include entry instructions, site maps, site access details, food/beverage information, helpful services and overall accessibility resourcing.

This handbook will also be available as a plain text document to assist those who may have vision difficulties.
