Since first launching his time-travelling, ‘dance-through-the-decades’ audio-visual party concept in 2011, Sydney’s Tom Lowndes has grown Hot Dub Time Machine into an absolute monster.

This Australian DJ, who showcases songs from every decade and genre of music, has been welcomed by international audiences with open arms. He pinpoints the happiest moments of your partying days past, and re-creates those moments to perfection for you all over again, intertwining them with the right here and the right now in the most exhilarating way possible. BODY OCEAN

Body Ocean, a dynamic force in the realm of electronic music, specialises in crafting immersive and kinetic house music. Their sonic journey delves into the intriguing interplay between organic and artificial elements, navigating the contrasts of personality and dissolution, as well as the balance between extraversion and introspection.

With an impressive portfolio of releases on influential labels such as Size, Black Book Records, Mad Decent, Dirtybird, Box of Cats, and STMPD RCRDS, Body Ocean has firmly established themselves as a notable presence in the electronic music scene. They've also left an indelible mark through a slew of remixes for acclaimed artists such as Steve Angello, Valentino Khan, Alison Wonderland, Ane Brun, and Mija. Their commitment to pushing boundaries and exploring diverse musical dimensions sets them apart, contributing to their growing reputation as innovators in the industry. As they gear up for 2024 Body Ocean is poised to captivate the house scene, armed with a compelling fusion of elements and a vision that promises to shape the future of electronic music.

DAILY J

It’s been a huge few years for Daily J who have earned a reputation as one of New Zealand music’s most successful up and coming exports with tens of millions of streams across platforms and sold-out tours across NZ, Australia and the UK.

The band of brothers consisting of Jayden, Jesse, Jonny and their longtime friend Rick arrived onto the scene with the release of their EP ‘The Other Side’ in 2017 followed by their debut album ‘Venus Ate Mars’ in 2020 featuring crowd favorite ‘Left Me Like Summer’ that recently went gold in NZ. This was followed by their two-part album ‘Slush Honey : Side A & B’ in 2023 which came with their first Rollings Stone awards nomination.

In May of this year the band announced their third studio album with the release of the first single ‘Happy Slides’ along with their newest single ‘Sunday Stitches’. A melodic postcard giving their listeners the first taste of what’s to come.

FLOWIDUS

Born just prior to the early 90’s rise of drum & bass, producers Raphael (based in Raglan, New Zealand) and Garo (based in Perth, Australia) have rooted their sound in the form, both as solo artists, and now collaboratively. Their combined passion for good vibes, and being able to share that with their fans was what defined their stage name FLOWIDUS, with both producers being quoted as saying “when people see us or hear our music, we want them to feel apart of it.

HALFQUEEN

HALFQUEEN is a DJ whose sets are just as unapologetic and empowering as her presence in every space. Specializing in the genre bending sounds of global club, she's driven to connect by conjuring collective nostalgia, unbridled joy and ass shaking.

Rooted in the experience of her Fijian and Paakehaa bloodlines, HALFQUEEN's background and native city of Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland, has influenced a confluence of sound that is ever-evolving, musically speaking, into a local and global sense of diaspora; connecting the dots between genres and islands worldwide.

Known for her energetic and unpredictable curation, HALFQUEEN has etched herself into the nightlife fabric of not only Aotearoa, but underground communities everywhere.

Her ability to explore different sonic worlds and transcend genre has led her to support a range of artists from YG to Sister Nancy, Cakes Da Killa to Marc Rebillet, Earthgang to Gavsborg. 2023 saw her secure a BBC Radio 1 residency and complete debut tours of Europe and East Asia, playing sets at Glastonbury, Horst Music & Arts Festival and Fabric,

Uncompromised vision, connection and care underpin her work as a DJ. event producer and curator; her DIY QTBIPOC clubnight and platform FILTH is a manifestation of this ethos. HALFQUEEN's artistic passion lies in storytelling. Her focus is creating sets and environments where the exchange between the audience and DJ is undeniably powerful, with a higher purpose of decolonising the d-floor, uplifting marginalized communities worldwide, and highlighting the importance of the Rave in the revolution.

BBYFACEKILLA

Tamaki Makaurau based DJ BBYFACEKILLA has been making waves on an international level. Unbound by the restrictions of Gender, Genre and Format, their sets weave together a captivating blend of high-energy percussive club tracks, infused with fiery club edits, jungle, ukg, house and techno.

BFK's selections are heavily influenced by their Pasifika cultural heritage (Samoan/Niuean). They are drawn to Polyrhythmic percs that resemble the pate, a traditional Samoan drum. As well as, the diverse music and dance styles they were exposed to growing up, and their sentimental connection to 90’s rnb and hip hop.

After leaving an undeniable mark in the local scene following their Boiler Room set with pro Queer BIPOC club night FILTH, they have gone on to grace the stages of renowned festivals all over Aotearoa. Additionally, they have provided support for international DJ’s/Producers like Fred Again, Jyoty, Sicaria, Sherelle, DJ Plead, Kush Jones, Skin On Skin, Yung Singh, Jarreau Vandal, as well as live acts like Eartheater and Brent Faiyaz at Spark arena.

BBYFACEKILLA's strong community focus and sense of identity, collaborations with local club nights and their radio show 'BFK Radio' ; broadcasted on Student Radio Station bFM, make them a powerful force in Aotearoa's club circuit & beyond.

COAST ARCADE

Indie Rock Pop band, Coast Arcade, are making huge waves in the indie music scene. Having formed at high school in early 2021, the band have an impressive CV which includes opening for Aussie legends Bootleg Rascals and The Grogans, as well as kiwi icons The Beths and Princess Chelsea. They’ve secured spots on the Rhythm and Vines festival and Spring City festival line-ups – alongside well-established acts such as Groove Armada, Zane Lowe and Ladyhawke.

Coast Arcade describe their sound as Indie Pop Rock with twists of Surf and Punk. This combination of genres crafts their energetic and fun summer sound. Coast Arcade is made up of Bella Bavin (vocals + lead guitar), brothers Chris (rhythm guitar) and Nate Tims (bass), and Thom Boynton (drums + backing vocals). These Auckland-based up-and-comers have placed in the charts with both their previously released singles – fast-paced ‘Highest Heights’ (Official NZ Charts ‘Ones To Watch’, #2 Hot NZ 20 Singles Chart + #37 Hot 40 Singles, #7 RadioScope Most Added + #24 NZ Airplay) and infectious debut ‘Tattoo’ (#11 Hot 20 NZ Singles Chart, RadioScope Most Added).

The future’s looking good for Coast Arcade; with many local shows under their belt and a solid fan base getting behind them, they have built up an energetic performance filled with fun, vibrant melodies and great songs.

MC TALI & CHICCORELI

Chiccoreli & Tali are a musical match in heaven, two undeniable talents that create synergy like no other when they are performing on stage together.

With Tali’s phenomenal talent as an MC, her energetic flows & soaring vocals in combination with Chiccoreli’s smooth mixing of his signature liquid DnB sound, the couple are a force to be reckoned with.

GWYN!

GWYN! Is a DJ who loves to bring the vibe. Catch her shelling out UKG that makes u move. Recent inspo for her would def have to be wax thief, the feel good, party vibe ukg just hits better. So if you like a dance and a party find GWYN! getting amongst it at Tea Party.

HONEY FOR JUPITER

Conceptualised in a dingy student flat, Honey for Jupiter maintains the essence of her origin by specialising in self-produced bops reminiscent of the 2000s indie era. Her music is characterised by fun melodies combined with a dreamy sound, creating tunes that invite listeners to dance, cry, and sing along.

It wouldn’t be Tea Party without the man, the myth, the legend - DJ SPINAL. He has been a staple over the past few years, throwing down bangers old and new to keep the students happy. Make sure you get your tickets to see this man in the flesh!

SIGNAL + The Riddem Ridda

Signal is a multi-genre trio comprised of selectas Will, Theo and Felix. Spinning a range of flavours like House, Garage, Techno, Drum and Bass. Together the boys work together to enhance the crowd by delivering a high energy set.

SMOUSE

20 year old student DJ Shamus “SMOUSE” Smith brings the very best of bass music to the dance floor. Born and bred in the 03, SMOUSE has been swiftly making a name for himself in the Christchurch dance music scene, having supported international acts such as Koven, Delta Heavy, Grafix, and A Little Sound, as well as performing at the Rolling Meadows NYE festival.

POOL HOUSE

Introducing Pool House! The group’s first show together was organised in response to the ill-fated Covid Tea Party of 2021. Now they are playing the real thing!

They’ve been performing memorable, high-energy shows across the South Island – including with major AUS/NZ bands such as Daily J, Bootleg Rascal, The Grogans, and Summer Thieves. After winning the Canterbury based DIG THE GIG band competition in early 2022, Pool House secured a free recording deal, music video, as well as a trip to LA in early 2024 to perform at established music venues.

The end of 2022 saw the band release their debut single ‘No Clue’, which has gained over 38,000 streams across all music platforms, and since then, the group have released their debut EP FLIGHTS OF DREAMING which illustrates their ability to explore new musical territory. Just this past summer, Pool House played Rolling Meadows, had consistent radio play across Aotearoa (Hauraki, RDU, Radio Active, Radio One, Radio Control) and their most recent single ‘Another Day’ was a regular in the charts. With the release of today’s exciting new single ‘Draw the Line’ and more music on the way, 2024 is set to be the year of Pool House!
