How do I sell my ticket to someone else?

Why do you require names on tickets match my ID?

The UCSA requires that names on tickets match your ID to ensure that any tickets resold are processed through the Flicket Resale Function.


Unfortunately in recent years there has been a significant rise in the number of counterfit / scam tickets, and this is us taking steps to try to protect you as the ticket buyer.

Why do I have to use the Flicket Resale Function to rename a ticket?

The UCSA requires you to use Flicket's resale function for your own safety, and for the safety of those purchasing resold tickets.


By only purchasing and selling tickets through the Flicket resale, you can be guaranteed that the tickets you are buying and selling are genuine, and that no one else has access to your QR code, and therefore that you will get into the event and will not get scammed.


By processing the payments through Flicket, the money is linked with that ticket - there is no risk of you paying for a ticket that doesn't work or selling your ticket to someone who's bank transfer does not appear.

Do I have to find someone to resell my ticket to?

Yes, you will have to find someone to resell your ticket to. You can use UCSA Noticeboard for this purpose as long as you make it clear you will be using the Flicket resale function.

I changed my mind, can I cancel a resale?

Yes, you can cancel a resale. 


To do this simply log back into your account, select "view ticket" beside the ticket you were going to transfer, and select "cancel selling this ticket."


This will cancel the resale and the purchaser will no longer be able to purchase your ticket. 

I am buying someone's ticket off of them - how do I do this?

Step 1. 

Once the person who is selling the ticket has requested the resale, you should receive an email with a link to purchase. 

Select the "Buy Ticket" button on this email. 

 

Step 2. 

Fill in your details and proceed to payment. 


Step 3. 

Once you have paid for your ticket, you should receive a confirmation email and your ticket will appear in your account when you log in. 

 

**Notes: If you abandon your cart before the purchase is complete, you will have to get the person who is transferring you a ticket to transfer it to you again. 

I can't see the 'resell my tickets' button when I click into my ticket?

If you have recieved a complimentary ticket, you will not be able to resell your ticket.
