Join us in Tī Kōuka and learn about Māori and Pacific culture at Te Whiringa to welcome back students for Semester Two.
‘Te Whiringa‘ which comes from the Whakataukii ‘Whiria te tangata’ which talks about weaving people together.

We will be serving Free Hangi at 6.30pm, followed by a performance from Te Akatoki – Māori Students Association University of Canterbury.
Then you can grab a beanbag, sit back and watch the iconic kiwi film, Whale Rider in our cosy Tī Kōuka space!
The film starts at 7.30pm, feel free to bring a blanket!
