The ONLY EXCEPTION is for ARA Students living at a UC Halls of Residence - Proof of address required at arrival of the event, i.e., letter or bank statement with address.

All ticket holders must carry valid Student ID that matches the name printed on/registered to your ticket. Any person who presents at UCSA Tea Party ‘26 with a ticket which does not match their ID will be refused entry, and the ticket will be cancelled, without refund.

UCSA Tea Party ‘26 is a strictly R18 event.

In accordance with New Zealand liquor licensing laws, we will only permit entry to Tea Party if you can present one of the following forms of ID approved under the Sale of Alcohol Regulations 2013, alongside your ticket.

• Any current passport
• A current New Zealand drivers’ licence
• A current Kiwi Access Card
• A current and valid Hospitality NZ 18+ Card

Physical copies only, photographs will not be accepted.

The Kiwi Access Card can be used as evidence of age and/or photographic identification in New Zealand. It costs approximately $70 incl. GST and NZ Post estimate it will take approximately 20 working days from the application date to receive your Kiwi Access Card.

You must have one of the three forms of approved ID to enter UCSA Tea Party ‘26. We cannot accept any other forms of ID whatsoever, so if there’s still time, you can apply for a new ID. By;

1. Applying for an emergency passport (est. 3 Days for NZ Citizens)
2. Applying for a Kiwi Access Card (est. 20 working days)

All UC Student ticket holders must also present their current UC Student ID alongside their Age ID on arrival to prove that they are a current UC Student.

Physical copies only, we don’t accept logins to Learn or any other UC system. Bring your UC ID card!

Head to UC Security and get another UC Student ID / Canterbury Card. (It will cost you $20, but you’re going to have to do it anyway!) UC Security are open 24/7.

You will receive a ticket confirmation shortly after the successful processing of your transaction. In some cases, it may take a few minutes to appear.

To prevent unauthorised resale and scams, we do not send your actual ticket with the barcode displayed until closer to the event. You will receive notification that your event ticket is available at that time.

If your payment was successfully completed and the confirmation still hasn’t appeared in your Inbox, Junk or Spam folders, please email the ticketing agent directly at support@flicket.co.nz

The only tickets we can guarantee are legitimate are those purchased directly from Flicket.

We can never guarantee the validity of a ticket that was purchased through a third-party platform, such as Tixel, Viagogo, Facebook or other marketplaces. Festival Tickets are non-transferable and any person carrying a ticket which is not in their name will be denied entry.

If you did not purchase your ticket using the Flicket platform, it is likely your ticket will not be honoured. The Organiser accepts no liability for any losses incurred as a result of the purchase of tickets from any unauthorised third-party, whether deliberate or unintentional.

Can’t attend UCSA Tea Party ‘26, or you want to buy a ticket off a mate?

You MUST transfer your ticket via FLICKET, because the name on the ticket must match the name on the attendees R18 ID.

You can do this by setting the price and sending a link directly to the person buying it. How it works:

1. You email someone a link to repurchase your ticket.
2. They repurchase it through our system and once they do this you will receive a refund for your ticket (minus fees).

If the event has sold out, we will turn on the ability to sell your ticket to other people. To do this, login to your account on Flicket, click your initials, select “My Tickets”, click “View Tickets” on the ticket you want to sell, and select “Sell My Ticket”.

Please note, you can only sell your ticket for the amount you paid for it using this method. If you want to sell for less than you paid, you’ll need to find someone to sell to directly.

Our event staff and security are always around to help! At any point if you feel unsafe, intimidated, or harassed, please reach out to any staff on site. If you’re after something more discreet use our number below or ask for an Angel Shot.

During the event you can call or text 027 UCSA 111 (027 8272 111) with a description of what’s happening. This will go directly to a senior member of the UCSA Events team who will be able to help, whatever your situation may be.

Asking for an Angel Shot is another way of telling us that you’re feeling harassed whilst at UCSA Tea Party ‘26, and at other events throughout the year. Our event, bar and security staff know that if you ask for an Angel Shot, this means you’re distressed and need assistance. We‘ll discreetly take you to a safe space and support you in choosing how you’d like to proceed.

As part of wider alcohol and drug harm minimisation strategies, anonymous and free drug testing will be carried out by 'Know Your Stuff', a community organisation committed to reducing drug related harm at festivals and events.

• Wednesday 14 October, 3pm-7pm

Know Your Stuff will also be onsite at Tea Party '26.

Our team are passionate about making your day as enjoyable as possible.

Ilam Fields are a reasonably flat venue. There may be some uneven surfaces and moderate terrain (tree roots, pathways, buried sprinkler heads and potholes in the grass fields) to navigate while within the venue.

The entry to the venue may pose extra challenges to patrons in wheelchairs or with other access needs due to limited entry width. If you are concerned about access via the principal entrance, please contact our team, or talk to a member of our team on the day who will be able to assist you in entering smoothly.

There are acccessible portaloos located in each toilet block on the festival site. All portaloos on the festival site are gender neutral.

We appreciate you may have specific needs that we have not addressed above. If there’s anything we can do to assist you in your access needs, please let us know - we shall make every effort to make a reasonable adjustment and meet your needs where possible.

No, once you leave the festival you won’t be allowed to re-enter the festival. There are strictly no ‘pass outs’

We all know costumes are one of the best things about Tea Party... and we can't wait to see what you come up with this year.

The UCSA does reserve the right to ask anyone to remove (or alter) offensive costumes before they enter the venue.

For example: no weapons, or anything that resembles a weapon. Nothing that includes extreme nudity and/or costumes that have 'fake nudity' inferred. Absolutely no black face, or culturally offensive costumes.

Feel free to message us to check... but if you're not sure whether you costume is offensive... yeah, it probably is.

Tea Party is an all-day music festival, and you are going to spend a lot of time on your feet. Please wear sensible shoes.

Bare feet, high-heels, jandals, Birkenstock's, and shoes without a backstrap are NOT ACCEPTABLE, and you will be asked to change them before being allowed entry.

Patrons may be refused entry to or asked to leave the venue if they:

• Are not in possession of a valid ticket or pass.
• Are not in possession of a Student ID and R18 ID.
• Are the subject of a current trespass order.
• Attempt to bring in, or are found with, prohibited items.
• Appear intoxicated or under the influence of drugs or behave in a disorderly or offensive manner.
• Fail to comply with security or entry staff requests, including submission to a search.
• Are carrying out illegal or unauthorised activities within the venue.
