University of Canterbury Engineering Society (ENSOC)

ENSOC strives to make the transition from secondary school to university as smooth as possible. We offer academic support through tutorials and study suppers. The annual Fresher Field Trip aims to connect students who are new to university early in the year. Older students are also catered for, with the Engineering Yarns night, 3rd and 4th year bus trip, networking brewery tour and the ENSOC Engineering Careers Expo connecting engineering students with summer internships or graduate jobs with New Zealand’s leading engineering organisations. Our club is not just for engineering students though, with our barbeques, quiz night and annual ball being social highlights for students of all disciplines.
