UC Netball

UC Netball Club is one of the largest senior clubs in Christchurch and the only club affiliated with the University of Canterbury. Our club is run by a small group of volunteers who are enthusiastic and dedicated to providing our members with the best club netball experience possible.

In the 2025 season UC Netball registered 23 teams with Christchurch Netball Centre, playing in the Winter Competition at Netball Sports Centre and Hagley Netball Courts throughout the week. Depending on the grade that you play, you could play on a Monday or Wednesday evening, or a Saturday. Our club prides itselves on catering for UC students and the wider community who have an interest in playing netball. We have teams for all levels and interests - competitive right through to social teams.

For the 2026 season, we will have teams beginning the season in Premier, Seniors, Senior Reserves, Challenge. We also enter teams into the Open and Under 23 age grades which are a combination of competitive and social grades with other clubs and high school teams. 

Being a University club we ensure we organise plenty of social events for our members.
