UC Filipino Society (UC FilSoc)

UC FilSoc is a Filipino Club at University of Canterbury. Our aim is to preserve the cultural knowledge of the Philippines by introducing and promoting our traditions, practices and values to our members through our Filipino-themed events. We also aspire to promote and create friendly relations with other ethnic communities (inside and outside of UC).

The biggest events we have for the year is the Welcoming Party and the Cultural night/Fiesta. However, this year we would like to bring more and even fresher new ideas/events. So watch out for this space!

Our club is completely open for anyone to join, so if you would like to learn more of the Filipino culture, join our club!
