Practice academic presentations, learn to inspire, persuade, negotiate, converse, or even watch yourself speak on video: Welcome to UC‘s public speaking club! U-CAN–SPEAK is renowned for its educational, fun and fast-paced meetings, where we all learn and improve by giving prepared speeches, impromptu talks and individual feedback.

Our club membership is diverse, including undergraduates, postgraduates and even past students, who are still enjoying the benefits of our educational programme. We are also open to staff members and the wider community. You don’t need to have speaking experience! Join us to master the art of giving memorable presentations and superior leadership skills.
