This term, we are bringing in a mix of new and old styles.
For our Tuesday classes, we start off the night with a fan-favourite Salsa Cubana (also known as “Cuban Salsa” or “Casino”). Originating in Cuba, Salsa Cubana is grounded, playful, and danced in a circular style. As such, once you start dancing Salsa Cubana, it will be hard to stop!
Then, we continue to bring the energy by transitioning into our second style, Quickstep. Like last term’s Waltz, Quickstep is a classic ballroom dance. Known for its light, flowing movement, lively music, and energetic footwork, it's one of the most exciting and joyful dances in the ballroom repertoire.
