The Executive is pleased to announce that Audi Chandra has been appointed to serve as Postgraduate Representative for the remainder of the 2026 term. Audi will also continue in the role throughout 2027, having been elected as the 2027 Postgraduate Representative. This appointment follows a vacancy in the role resulting from the conclusion of an internal process.

The Executive would like to acknowledge and thank Evangeline Rong for her dedication and service as Acting Postgraduate Representative during the interim period, ensuring that the postgraduate student community continued to be represented.

Kia Ora! My name is Audi Chandra-yes, like the Audi car- and I’m studying Master of Applied Data Science in my first year. I’m from Indonesia and after experiencing my first 6 weeks here, the postgraduate journey can be very exciting but also a daunting one to explore which is why I ran for the role of Māngai Tāura | Postgraduate Representative. I am looking forward to coming on board for the remainder of 2026 and into 2027.

I believe that my past organizational and work experience can help other postgraduates in completing their study here while the experiences I will gain will also help me grow. My goals are to strengthen these 4 areas: forums, student networks, information hubs and resource advocacy.

In my free time, I like to read comics and play single-player games especially RPGs game. I really like Japanese titles like Hunter x Hunter, World Trigger, Fullmetal Alchemist and Japanese studios such as FromSoftware, Capcom, Atlus. If you ever see me on campus, just reach out to me, I won’t bite or run you over (I promise this is the last time I’m using the car joke lol).

Electoral Commission at Start of Term BBQ

The UCSA is working with the Electoral Commission to help ensure our students are enrolled and ready to vote ahead of the 2026 General Election.

The Electoral Commission will be at the start of term BBQ on Monday 7th of September to answer your questions, check your enrolment details, and help you enrol or update your information. Recent changes to New Zealand's electoral laws have been introduced to strengthen and improve the electoral system, making it more important than ever to ensure your enrolment details are up to date. You can also check your enrolment details online here.

If you're eligible to vote, we encourage you to stop by and make sure you're election ready.
