Are you a student who's passionate about Pasifika culture and keen to support the community? Applications are open for the role of Pasifika Student Advisor, and it's open to all UC Pasifika students enrolled for 2023.
This is a new position that will work with the UCSA's Student Exec team this year. The Advisor will help to represent Pasifika student voices, issues and needs.
Some tasks include attending meetings and workshops with our Student Exec and chairing the Pasifika Student Advisory Group (a group of students that provides feedback), among others.
The role will have support from friendly UCSA staff, including a full induction.
Benefits and time commitments
This is a 10-hour-per-week time commitment, and the role will be paid an honorarium of $5879.20 (gross per annum). Other benefits include a shared office inside Haere-roa, tickets to UCSA-run events in 2023, the chance to boost your CV and support the community.
