UCSA Help Volunteers

What is the UCSA Help Volunteer Programme?

The UCSA Help Volunteers are a team of senior Law and Psych students who volunteer their time to assist the Advocacy and Welfare team by being the first point of contact for students coming into the UCSA seeking assistance with their advocacy and welfare challenges. The Help Volunteers are trained in client interviewing and the various services offered by the Advocacy and Welfare team so they are well equipped to meet with students seeking support.

Why become a UCSA Help Volunteer?

UCSA Help Volunteers:

  • Receive valuable training and experience in client interviewing;
  • Gain opportunities to assist and advise clients with real issues and challenges;
  • Give back to the University community by assisting other students in need.
