    Improving Seating in the Undercroft for Food Patrons

    More seating should be added to the undercroft and food area under the library —specifically tables and chairs that are comfortable and practical for eating (not the couches that are currently there). Priority for indoor seating should be given to those purchasing or consuming food from the cafes and food outlets not people studying. The current couch-style seating isn’t suitable for meals, so the focus should be on installing proper dining furniture that encourages people to stay, eat, and enjoy the space separate to study.
